Ahmad Yama Bassam
Managing Partner - Global Tax Strategist
Mr. Bassam brings over a decade of extensive experience in accounting, finance, and banking, both nationally and internationally. His focus is on compliance and regulatory matters, with a notable track record in advising on crucial tax regulations.
He started his professional career at Morgan Stanley, leading to consulting roles with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Before founding A.Y.Bassam & Co. LLP, he was a managing partner at Moore Global (formerly AHG), a distinguished accounting and advisory network. Currently, Mr. Bassam advises Special Needs Families on tax and benefit strategies. He also provides pro bono tax and benefits guidance to Special Needs Families.
Mr. Bassam earned a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. He is presently pursuing a Doctorate in Jurisprudence (JD) at the Colleges of Law in Santa Barbara.
He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Tri-Counties Association for the Developmentally Disabled (TCADD), a non-profit organization operating under the name Tri-Counties Regional Center. TCADD is committed to offering lifelong services and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Shawn's Blue Bench, an organization committed to increasing awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in developing countries.
