Sediq Reshtin

Tax Consultant - Head of Accounting

Sediq Reshtin is a skilled professional with expertise in accounting, finance, and auditing, specializing in financial reporting. His career began at the American University of Afghanistan, where he built a strong foundation in finance. He further advanced his skills during five years at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, focusing on billing and finance operations. After his relocation to Los Angeles, Sediq joined Mazars USA LLP, a leading public accounting firm, where he worked as a financial auditor, providing audit and financial reporting services to major clients.

 

Sediq holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from California State University, Northridge, and is currently pursuing further qualifications. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking Management from Kabul University and an Intermediate-Level Certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

 

In addition to his professional work, Sediq is a member of the Accounting Association (AA) at CSUN and volunteers with Miry’s List, assisting immigrants with social services.

 

Sediq is a CTEC-Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP), certified by the California Tax Education Council (CTEC), and a QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor, showcasing his proficiency in tax preparation and financial reporting.
